Senior Software Engineer, Core UI at Lattice

The Core UI pod operates within our Platform Domain, where we focus on creating a more cohesive suite of products by elevating the quality of shared components. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will influence our design system, UI frameworks, and shared product experiences. Your work will directly support our engineering, product, and design teams as we accelerate development and improve the overall product suite.

Key outcomes

• Develop and deploy customer-facing experiences for core areas, including site navigation, our homepage, and new AI-driven features.
• Partner with product and design teams to translate concepts into accessible, high-performance user interfaces.
• Maintain and evolve our front-end stack, focusing on React, Relay, and React Router, while establishing best practices for their use.
• Architect reusable and accessible components that serve as the foundation for our design system and customer experiences.
• Collaborate across the full stack, including GraphQL, Node, PostgreSQL, and AWS, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide mentorship to colleagues to help them grow their technical skills and expand their professional knowledge.
• Champion accessibility and clean code standards across the organization.
• Contribute to engineering practices by identifying and implementing improvements to team workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining production-level applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with modern frameworks such as React, Relay, and React Router.
• A proven ability to build complex, intuitive, and reusable components.
• Hands-on experience working with design systems or UI frameworks to improve customer-facing products.
• A deep understanding of accessibility requirements and a commitment to inclusive web development.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading the planning and execution of software development projects.
• A passion for mentoring and supporting engineers who are earlier in their careers.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is 97,000 USD to 130,000 USD. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
