Senior Software Engineer Backend at Founda Health

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in India to help us tackle the complex, global challenges of healthcare interoperability.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain a pre-fetch service that ensures critical medical images are readily available on local PACS devices.
• Build a robust Metrics API to aggregate and expose millions of data points, providing actionable insights to our customers.
• Design a data normalization and terminology layer to create a uniform, reliable gateway experience regardless of the underlying EHR system.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a polyglot engineer with at least 8 years of experience who is eager to contribute across our entire platform. You should have a proactive mindset and a strong desire to grow into a staff-level position. Your background should include:

• Professional proficiency in Java, which is mandatory for this role.
• Experience with at least one other language from our stack, such as Golang, Python, or TypeScript.
• Several years of production experience building event-driven microservices in a scaling environment.
• A deep understanding of cloud-native principles and a commitment to fostering a strong engineering culture.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
