What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a contractor basis. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will play a vital role in our engineering efforts by leveraging your experience with Python, FastAPI, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and HL7 standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing robust backend services to integrate IMS with LIS using HL7 standards.
- Developing efficient data pipelines and interfaces using Kafka to support our platform.
- Driving the architecture of our application platform while collaborating across product, design, and machine learning teams to ensure high engineering standards.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering, typically demonstrated by five or more years of professional experience. While a bachelor's degree is highly valued, we also welcome candidates with equivalent practical experience. We are looking for individuals who possess an insatiable intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly within a complex, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be a dedicated team player who is passionate about your work and willing to tackle tasks of any size.
