The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering organization, you will play a vital role in shaping our technical direction while working within a collaborative environment that values proactive problem-solving and high-quality system design.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clean, secure, and highly efficient code that is built to be tested and reused.
• Design and manage resilient, large-scale financial systems that prioritize high availability and performance.
• Drive our deployment strategy by utilizing automated tools to facilitate frequent, reliable code releases throughout the day.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for building robust distributed systems. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with deep proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern system design.
• Proven expertise in building enterprise-grade software, specifically using event-driven microservices architectures.
• A solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to troubleshooting complex issues in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and orchestration tools, including AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
