At ForAllSecure, we are on a mission to redefine software security through our autonomous AI engine, Mayhem. Our technology, which famously won the DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge and is featured in the Smithsonian Museum, helps organizations like Roblox and Cloudflare secure critical systems in aerospace, automotive, and high-tech industries. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Analysis Engineering team. Key outcomes
- Enhance the core analysis engine of Mayhem to better discover bugs and security flaws.
- Collaborate with a global team of engineers to develop new features, conduct code reviews, and maintain high software quality.
- Work closely with support teams and customers to address real-world security challenges within their unique software ecosystems.
- Take ownership of specific components within the Mayhem architecture to ensure long-term scalability and performance.
- Contribute to a development cycle that prioritizes innovation, usability, and the rapid identification of software defects.
Requirements
- A strong foundation in computer science, evidenced by a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a related field.
- Professional experience with systems-level programming in Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Rust, Python, or C/C++.
- In-depth knowledge of compiler concepts, including code generation, register allocation, control flow graphs, and stack frames.
- Understanding of binary execution formats, assembly language, and the mechanics of linkers and loaders.
- Solid grasp of operating system fundamentals such as process lifecycles, memory management, and I/O operations.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience in vulnerability research or reverse engineering.
- Familiarity with program analysis techniques, specifically fuzzing and symbolic execution.
- Knowledge of modern exploitation techniques and their corresponding security mitigations.
- Experience utilizing run-time analysis tools like LLVM sanitizers or Valgrind.
- Familiarity with functional programming languages such as OCaml or Haskell.
- Experience working with containerization technologies like Docker or OCI.
