The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in the Dominican Republic. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and quality of our payment infrastructure. You will be at the heart of our mission, helping us maintain the high standards that have made us a top-rated place to work in fintech. By leading testing efforts and refining our quality assurance processes, you will ensure that our complex, global systems continue to perform flawlessly for our clients.

A day in the life

• You will take the lead on testing initiatives for our card issuing, revolving credit, and payment domains, ensuring every release meets our rigorous standards.
• You will design, develop, and execute automation code while creating comprehensive test plans using JUnit 5 to verify system performance.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document bugs, perform regression testing, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines through tools like Jenkins.

Who you are

You are an experienced professional who thrives in complex technical environments. You have a deep understanding of Java and the JUnit framework, and you are comfortable working with both MySQL and Cassandra databases. Your background includes significant experience in backend enterprise system testing and automating API (REST) testing. Because we operate on a global scale, you possess business fluency in English, allowing you to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. You are a natural problem solver who is eager to dive into new domains and apply your expertise to help us maintain our industry-leading quality.
