Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at ANYbotics

We are ANYbotics, a rapidly expanding leader in autonomous robotics, and we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team of over 130 professionals in Switzerland. We specialize in creating advanced robotic solutions for industrial inspection, helping large-scale operators improve safety and productivity through our autonomous platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of our test automation frameworks and infrastructure while working alongside our robotics test automation team.
• Champion a culture of high-quality code and promote shift-left testing practices across all software engineering departments.
• Partner with our developer experience team to provide meaningful feedback to engineers regarding code quality and robot reliability.
• Enhance the testability and traceability of our onboard software stack and mentor colleagues on building testable code.
• Proactively assess and improve our existing systems to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability.
• Participate in manual testing campaigns and long-term on-robot testing as needed.

Must-haves

• A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related robotics field.
• Deep expertise in test automation and testing strategies across the entire development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to design and integrate robust test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, along with a solid grasp of object-oriented design principles.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test management and issue tracking software.
• The ability to manage your own work effectively while navigating shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with ROS and robotic simulators like Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with database systems like PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience using Robot Framework.
