What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Application Engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere. We need an experienced engineer who can take ownership of our product quality, reliability, and performance. You will be instrumental in designing robust testing frameworks and collaborating with our developers to ensure we deliver high-quality features to our global users.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks that validate features across our entire application stack.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering team to integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that our release process remains both rapid and dependable.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects by working alongside developers to reproduce issues, suggest effective fixes, and verify that resolutions meet our standards.

To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in software engineering and a passion for quality assurance. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience solving complex technical problems, with a minimum of 4 years specifically focused on test automation and software quality.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript for writing clean, maintainable test code.
• Deep experience with data validation and testing complex queries against databases like PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including Kubernetes, Docker, and the management of CI/CD pipelines.
• A proactive mindset, including a willingness to explore how GenAI can assist in developing test cases and automation harnesses.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively within our team.
