What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our educational tools. You will report directly to engineering leadership and help shape the future of our web and mobile applications for students and educators.
What will you do?
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts for our server, web, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with our development and product teams to understand system architecture and create comprehensive test plans.
- Integrate test automation into our continuous integration and delivery pipelines while using performance monitoring tools to provide actionable insights.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in software testing with a heavy emphasis on automation. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and who possesses the following skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Go.
- Advanced experience working with relational databases like MySQL and Postgres.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI.
- A strong background in performance and load testing, as well as clear box testing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English.
