As a spin-out of Kira Systems, a recognized leader in contract analysis and a trusted partner to most AmLaw 100 firms, we are on a mission to make world-class contract analysis AI accessible to developers and vendors everywhere. We are currently seeking an experienced Golang Software Developer to join our nimble, cross-functional team. In this remote, full-time role, you will work alongside product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in a supportive environment that prioritizes experimentation and collaborative growth.

Key outcomes

• Design, develop, and maintain backend cloud-native services within a containerized microservices architecture.
• Take full ownership of projects from initial concept through to production deployment, including infrastructure and pipeline management.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions and introduce new technologies to improve our systems.
• Build and operate highly available, low-latency, and scalable solutions.
• Engage in team-based methodologies such as pair programming and test-driven development.

Requirements

• Professional experience in building and enhancing backend services for web applications.
• Proficiency in Golang is essential for this position.
• Practical experience working with SQL in modern database systems.
• Strong grasp of cloud and containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Commitment to software engineering best practices, including clean code principles and effective use of Git.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge within a collaborative team.
• A proactive mindset toward owning projects and supporting them through their production lifecycle.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with data-intensive computing and machine learning concepts.
• Experience working with React and TypeScript.
