What you'll be doing

• Design, plan, and execute the development of new software products, features, and capabilities.
• Write high-quality code while leading other developers to deliver mission-critical projects through an iterative, incremental approach.
• Mentor your peers in the craft of writing clean, testable code while ensuring the long-term health and scalability of our systems.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for technical excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, including a minimum of 2 years working specifically with TypeScript.
• Proven experience leading significant technical initiatives that involved multiple developers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A rigorous approach to problem-solving and an insatiable desire to learn.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Python, React, and Apache Kafka is highly valued.
• You must be eligible to work in Canada and be within driving distance of Toronto to attend in-person meetings once or twice per quarter.
