About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the autonomy and trust needed to lead complex technical projects while serving as a subject matter expert. You will work within a collaborative environment where your growth is prioritized through personalized career plans, peer groups, and dedicated mentorship. This is a hybrid position that focuses on delivering high-quality software solutions while fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope and author technical designs, driving development through the full SDLC from initial concept to final release.
- Lead project features by collaborating with team members, delegating tasks, and ensuring clear communication with clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert who mentors other developers, performs code reviews, and helps improve our internal best practices and processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex problems. Our requirements include:
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience programming with object-oriented Java and/or C++.
- Proven ability to estimate software development requirements and present ideas effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Development experience on Windows and macOS platforms, with Linux experience considered a plus.
- A commitment to writing maintainable, readable, and well-documented code.
