Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Prove

Our platform helps over 1,000 enterprise customers across sectors like banking, healthcare, and e-commerce process 20 billion requests every year. We are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available infrastructure by leveraging infrastructure-as-code, automation, and advanced observability practices to drive 99.999% uptime.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve system performance, scalability, and security while championing a culture of reliability and operational excellence.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve critical incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement preventative measures to reduce future toil.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related software engineering role with a strong focus on production systems.
• 2 years of experience providing technical project leadership.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, with a strong preference for AWS.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and GitOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Deep knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python or Go.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
