Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Flatiron Health

We are searching for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust networking and application infrastructure that prioritizes high scalability, performance, and reliability while maintaining strict security standards.
• Collaborate closely with product and application teams to establish best practices for infrastructure, software performance, and production networking.
• Develop clear documentation, design plans, and operational playbooks to support our growing international engineering organization.

Requirements

We are looking for a collaborative problem-solver with at least 5 years of experience in DevOps or software engineering. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in AWS and experience managing resilient, distributed cloud network infrastructure, including routing, segmentation, and firewall configuration.
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools, specifically Terraform.
• A deep understanding of Linux environments and the ability to write clean, maintainable code for operational tooling.
• Experience implementing cloud permissions and least privilege access models at scale.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across multiple global teams.
