About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our production cloud environments and championing a culture of service ownership across our engineering organization. You will play a key part in ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and secure as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our engineering teams to design and implement secure AWS infrastructure, ensuring that our production cloud environments meet high standards for performance and reliability.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform, to manage complex production workflows, networking configurations, and authentication setups.
- Take an active role in our 24/7 on-call rotation to diagnose and resolve system issues, while focusing on reducing manual toil and improving our alerting systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages, specifically TypeScript and Python.
- Strong experience managing infrastructure in AWS using Terraform.
- Proven ability to build and support serverless applications using services like API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate, and Glue.
- A deep understanding of cloud-native design principles, including fault tolerance and scalability.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
Location
This position is 100% remote and is available to candidates currently located anywhere in the United States.
