What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. This is a senior-level position where you will play a vital role in our agile, cross-functional environment. You will be responsible for evolving our platforms, ensuring high performance, and maintaining the security of our infrastructure while mentoring other engineers to foster technical growth across the organization.
What will you do?
- Automate and optimize operations by designing and developing tools that streamline service operations, improve observability, and ensure efficient auditing.
- Improve system reliability and security through proactive root cause analysis of production issues and the implementation of long-term fixes to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
- Scale and maintain infrastructure by supporting our Kubernetes-based microservices ecosystem to ensure high availability and consistent performance.

To succeed in this role, you should be a hands-on professional who enjoys solving complex problems and leading by example. We are looking for someone who communicates effectively in English and possesses the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting high-availability cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools like Helm or Kustomize.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud platform services, including routing, load balancing, DNS, and VPC management.
