Our team of strategists and technologists sits at the intersection of sports and digital innovation, serving millions of fans and major brands, including hundreds of NCAA Division I programs. We foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment where every team member plays a direct role in the success of our products. We are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards for service availability, performance, and reliability.
- Architect and support live services in partnership with our domain engineering and SRE teams.
- Forecast service capacity needs and perform system tuning to optimize software performance.
- Resolve critical production incidents and implement automation to eliminate manual toil.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term, permanent fixes.
- Enhance our monitoring stack, including logs, metrics, and alerts, to ensure rapid issue detection.
- Create comprehensive documentation and tooling to mitigate operational risks.
- Maintain a secure environment by addressing vulnerabilities and collaborating with development teams on compliance.
- Develop run books to assist our NOC team in reducing incident response times.
- Take part in an on-call rotation with the broader SRE team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with Linux systems, including deep knowledge of kernels, shell scripting, and file systems.
- Proven expertise in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C#, or Go.
- Experience with public cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- A solid understanding of cloud orchestration frameworks and the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of distributed systems architectures and networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401k, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
