The role
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our infrastructure team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based at our Swiss headquarters in Mendrisio. Our office is conveniently located just 7km from the Italian border, making it an easy commute from areas like Milan, Como, Varese, or Lugano. If you are joining us from further away, we are happy to provide relocation assistance to help you settle into this beautiful region.
Core responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain a high-performing, elastic infrastructure that supports our global product offerings.
- Collaborate proactively with engineering teams to design scalable and secure systems while maintaining production stability.
- Drive our commitment to automation by leveraging infrastructure-as-code technologies to streamline our operational workflows.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset. We look for the following qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in managing AWS infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically EKS and ECS.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, with a primary focus on Terraform and familiarity with CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, NodeJS, Golang, and BASH.
- Experience with distributed version control systems, particularly Git.
- A high level of English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, maintaining a strong sense of integrity and urgency.
