We are looking for a dedicated Senior Service Desk Analyst to join our team in a hybrid capacity within Canada, helping us shape the future of our organization while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.
What you'll be doing
- Provide expert technical guidance to our service desk team, taking ownership of complex cases and ensuring the prompt, effective resolution of intricate technical issues.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of essential IT equipment and software, including hardware, telephony, networks, and various applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to drive continuous improvements in our IT service management processes and overall infrastructure performance.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to high-quality support. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Three to five years of experience in IT support, with at least one to two years in a senior-level position.
- Deep proficiency in Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong working knowledge of networking, cloud systems like AWS and Azure, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience using IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Network+ are highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
