What you'll be doing

• You will scale our rule infrastructure by implementing automation, enhancing observability, and optimizing performance.
• You will engineer robust automation systems and collaborate with our AI team to increase our operational output.
• You will develop new Semgrep rules to help companies strengthen their overall security posture.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:

• Strong expertise in software security, including a deep understanding of fundamental principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in writing and reviewing code in object-oriented languages, with a preference for Python.
• A solid background in cloud technologies and development tools, specifically AWS, SQL, CI/CD, and database management.
• The ability to work independently in a high-trust environment, where you can own projects from start to finish.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global, cross-functional team.

What you'll get

We are committed to fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $174,000 to $205,000, and we also provide equity as part of our total compensation package. In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits:
