About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our growing Information Security team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will leverage your hands-on expertise in AWS and cloud architecture to ensure our environment remains secure, visible, and compliant. You will evaluate our existing technical capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and maintain the protocols that keep our security operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments across cloud and on-premise environments, prioritizing risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with our Engineering and IT teams to ensure that all infrastructure is deployed in alignment with our core security principles.
• Triage, investigate, and respond to potential security incidents while providing necessary on-call support.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in security operations.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
• Strong technical proficiency with AWS, cloud infrastructure, and security operations systems like SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and DLP.
• The ability to automate daily tasks using Python or Bash.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and a solid understanding of incident response procedures.
• Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO, and SOC2, with bonus points for experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Location

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $123,200 to $184,800 USD. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for performance-based bonuses and equity grants. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
