What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team on a Full Time basis. In this role, you will lead our efforts in vulnerability management, ensuring our systems and networks remain resilient against evolving threats. Your expertise in Linux, Docker, IaaS, and DevSecOps will be essential as you help us scale our security infrastructure. This position is available to candidates located anywhere, with the option to work remotely or from our office in Boston, MA.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and prioritize security vulnerabilities across our applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to remediate risks and drive automation within our security lifecycle.
- Apply deep knowledge of OAuth and SAML to secure our research platforms and manage sensitive data effectively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong technical foundation in Application Security and Vulnerability Management. You should have extensive experience performing threat modeling and configuring web scanners for complex authentication environments. We value individuals who are comfortable working in Linux and Docker environments and who have a proven ability to manage security within IaaS platforms. You must be proficient in English and demonstrate a high level of intellectual rigor, humility, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment. A deep understanding of security frameworks and a commitment to continuous learning are vital for success in this position.
