About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in protecting our infrastructure. You will be responsible for continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, while collaborating with our engineering and product teams to embed security-first principles across our technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale security tools to proactively monitor and respond to sophisticated threats across our distributed systems.
- Lead complex security incident investigations, perform advanced threat hunting, and develop comprehensive strategies to improve our security posture after incidents.
- Manage our enterprise vulnerability management program by establishing risk-based prioritization and driving remediation efforts throughout the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in security operations, with a strong preference for backgrounds in cloud-centric environments.
- Extensive knowledge of public cloud security, specifically within AWS, including container security, infrastructure-as-code, and serverless architectures.
- A deep understanding of modern attack vectors, advanced persistent threat tactics, and network analysis using TCP/IP protocols.
- The ability to participate in an on-call rotation and serve as a first responder for security event escalations.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with our global teams across different time zones.
