We are looking for a dedicated Senior Security Engineer II to join our remote team and help us build a more secure financial future.
What you'll be doing
- You will partner with our development teams to champion secure coding practices, perform thorough code reviews, and ensure our systems align with established security standards.
- You will lead threat modeling initiatives to identify and mitigate risks within our application architectures, while also managing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments throughout the development lifecycle.
- You will integrate static analysis tools into our continuous integration workflows and manage the security of our software supply chain to protect against third-party vulnerabilities.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in application development or security engineering. You should be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, Clojure, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience conducting web application penetration tests and deploying static analysis tools within developer workflows.
- A strong understanding of web vulnerabilities and the ability to implement effective fixes in both legacy and modern codebases.
- Expertise in supply chain security and the management of risks associated with third-party dependencies.
- A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to mentor engineers and foster a company-wide culture of security awareness.
What you'll get
