About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst for Data Governance to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our information governance and data classification initiatives. You will oversee the lifecycle of our data assets, ensuring they are properly classified, protected, and managed from creation to destruction. Your work will be vital in safeguarding the integrity of our organization's information.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive data classification program that aligns with our sensitivity standards and regulatory obligations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of data assets by reviewing and optimizing procedures for storage, sharing, archiving, and secure destruction.
- Collaborate with various departments to socialize security principles and provide training that fosters a culture of data awareness across the company.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in cyber security and a commitment to data integrity. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working within the cyber security sector.
- Demonstrable expertise in building and managing information governance or data classification programs.
- A deep understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Strong analytical abilities and the communication skills necessary to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

This position is based in the United States and operates under a hybrid work model.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated base pay range for this position is $161,000 to $241,600 USD. In addition to your salary, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including:
