The role

We are seeking a Senior Scientific Software Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in France. You will play a vital role in strengthening our computational capabilities, directly influencing how we develop and optimize novel drug candidates. You will work within an agile, interdisciplinary environment where collaboration and technical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement computational workflows focused on virtual screening, molecular property prediction, and the design of compound libraries.
• Partner with our medicinal chemistry and AI teams to integrate advanced algorithms into our drug discovery pipelines.
• Enhance and maintain our internal chemoinformatics infrastructure to ensure our tools remain scalable, reliable, and highly efficient.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in computational chemistry, cheminformatics, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in chemoinformatics, specifically with molecular modeling, virtual screening, and library design using tools like RDKit.
• High proficiency in Python, with a proven ability to build reproducible and scalable computational pipelines.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills, allowing you to interpret complex information and communicate findings effectively.
• The ability to bridge the gap between technical concepts and medicinal chemistry strategies, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork.
