Senior SAP FI Analyst at O-I

We are looking for a Senior SAP FI Analyst to join our team in Poland on a full-time, on-site basis. Our organization focuses on maintaining and enhancing complex financial business applications, specifically within the SAP FI/CO landscape. We pride ourselves on driving process improvements and supporting critical financial operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury management. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems remain robust and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business architects and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional designs, ensuring that all technical solutions align with our performance goals and business needs.
• Provide comprehensive life-cycle support for SAP modules, which includes troubleshooting system issues, performing quality reviews, and managing the full testing process from condition definition to user acceptance.
• Act as a key liaison for the finance community by leading process re-engineering efforts, mentoring junior staff members, and documenting detailed functional specifications and operating procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess extensive experience in the SAP environment and a deep understanding of financial disciplines. We are looking for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision and bring a fresh perspective to complex problem-solving. Your background should include:

• Proven expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, manage requirements traceability, and evaluate new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with IT colleagues, external partners, and business stakeholders.
• A track record of leading project teams and providing mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
