The role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this senior-level position, you will play a critical role in enhancing our loan origination and servicing platform. You will be responsible for building new features that automate internal workflows, while also collaborating with our broader engineering team to migrate mission-critical business logic to AWS. This is a high-impact role where your technical decisions will help us scale our operations and support millions of Americans on their journey toward financial health.

Core responsibilities

• Maintain and scale our Salesforce-native loan origination system by architecting solutions that prioritize security, regulatory compliance, and platform governor limits.
• Lead the migration of legacy employee-facing admin interfaces from Visualforce to Lightning Experience while assisting in the integration of off-platform services with AWS.
• Mentor fellow engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and champion best practices in our software development lifecycle to ensure predictable and sustainable delivery.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in architecture and development within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Deep proficiency with both no-code and pro-code tools, including Apex, LWC, and Flows.
• Strong understanding of platform integration patterns such as REST, SSO, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub.
• Experience managing sandboxes with data masking and seeding practices.
• A willingness to work with off-platform technologies, specifically AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Compensation and benefits
