Senior Sales Engineer at Checkly

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Checkly, we serve as the active reliability layer for developers and agents, unifying testing, synthetic monitoring, and observability into a single AI-native workflow. Our platform is trusted by industry leaders like Vercel, CrowdStrike, and 1Password, and following our recent $20M Series B funding, we are ready to scale our impact. If you are based in the UTC+1 or UTC+2 time zones and want to help engineering teams ensure application performance from pull request to post-mortem, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical evaluation process for prospects, guiding them from the initial demo through to a successful implementation of our platform.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on monitoring, helping to drive the Monitoring as Code revolution while solving complex technical challenges for our customers.
• Collaborate directly with our users to gather insights, which you will then share with our product and engineering teams to help shape the future of our tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging code, with a preference for JavaScript and Node.js.
• Prior experience working within a dev-tools SaaS environment, ideally with a background in observability, monitoring, or testing.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to leverage AI tools to generate demo code and build proof-of-concept repositories.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive autonomously in a remote-first culture.

What we offer
