We are a team of over 40 senior engineers operating across the globe, and we partner with some of the most ambitious organizations in the industry, such as Celestia, Polkadot, and Zcash, to solve the massive challenges of scale and performance in the decentralized space.
What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to join our distributed team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work remotely from anywhere in the world to develop new products, core protocols, or client-facing projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Researching complex protocols to gain a deep understanding of their mechanics.
- Designing, implementing, and documenting robust distributed systems.
- Developing high-performance protocols or protocol-driven applications using Rust.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in systems programming and the ability to design interoperable software architectures. We require at least 5 years of experience in collaborative software development, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in Rust. You must be fully proficient in English to communicate effectively with our team and clients. While not mandatory, we value candidates who have knowledge of cryptography and information security, experience with domain-specific languages, or a background in leading small teams.
What we offer
We provide a flexible working environment that supports your professional and personal well-being. Our benefits include:
- The freedom and flexibility of remote work.
- Generous paid time off, including sick days, local national holidays, and five weeks of paid vacation per year.
