Senior Research Developer at Appfollow

What you bring

As a Senior Research Developer, you will play a vital role in both infrastructure and product development. You will focus on creating scalable data solutions and ASO insights that directly enhance how our users monitor their app store performance. This is a full-time, remote position where you will be expected to handle the following responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of ASO features, taking them from initial prototyping all the way to production.
• Build and maintain robust infrastructure designed to collect, store, and process large volumes of app store data.
• Design and implement sophisticated algorithms and pipelines to generate actionable ASO recommendations.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience in backend development and a strong background in Python, specifically with asyncio. You should be highly proficient in building APIs using FastAPI and aiohttp. Your technical toolkit must include extensive experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, as well as familiarity with RabbitMQ for messaging. We value candidates who have a solid understanding of data processing pipelines and unit testing with Pytest. Beyond your technical skills, you must have an upper-intermediate command of both English and Russian. We appreciate team members who are collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to work within a multicultural environment.
