Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior React Native Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level role where you will work alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team to improve the digital experience for veterans. You will be expected to work across the tech stack, contributing to both front-end and back-end development in an environment that values curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to accessibility.

Your impact

• Design and build high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript.
• Collaborate within an Agile, cross-functional team to develop modular, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of production experience with React Native.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and working with REST APIs.
• Experience with DevOps practices, cloud services, and automated testing frameworks.
• A deep understanding of software design principles and a track record of working effectively in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for creating accessible, user-focused technology.
• Fluency in English.
