What you bring
As a Senior R&D Food Technologist, you will play a vital role in the development and commercialization of new salty snack flavors and seasonings. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United States. You will leverage your expertise in Product Development, Project Management, and Regulatory Compliance to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading seasoning development projects by collaborating with vendors to achieve productivity and sales goals.
- Planning and executing the full lifecycle of product formulations while maintaining rigorous technical documentation.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, including procurement and manufacturing, to troubleshoot processes and drive quality improvements.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a solid foundation in food science and a commitment to technical excellence. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field, supported by seven to ten years of experience in consumer food product development. Proficiency in tools such as TraceGains and Genesis is essential, as is a strong ability to manage complex technical details using the Microsoft Office suite. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who is comfortable with Data Analysis and capable of evaluating regulatory packaging claims. You must be fluent in English and willing to travel up to 10% of the time to visit production plants and suppliers.
