We are known for crafting everything from kettle-cooked chips and tortilla snacks to cookies and wafers, and we are looking for a passionate expert to help us continue this tradition of excellence.

What you bring

We are seeking a Senior R&D Food Technologist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in the United States. In this role, you will lead the charge in developing and commercializing new salty snack flavors while collaborating with cross-functional groups to optimize our processes. Your expertise in product development, innovation, and project management will be vital as you navigate the complexities of our manufacturing environment.

Lead seasoning development projects by partnering with vendors to meet productivity and sales objectives.
Execute the full lifecycle of product formulation, from initial planning to final commercialization.
Provide technical leadership to manufacturing operations to troubleshoot challenges and ensure consistent product quality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in food science, typically supported by a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. We are looking for someone with 7 to 10 years of experience in consumer food product development and innovation. You should be highly skilled in regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and quality assurance, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard tools like TraceGains. We value candidates who are detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working in a collaborative, stage-gate environment. Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate with our diverse teams and suppliers.
