The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire research lifecycle, moving from initial ideation all the way to final implementation. You will have the freedom to specialize based on your unique strengths while working closely with a group of talented peers to uncover market anomalies and build robust, automated trading systems. This position is open to candidates based anywhere in Switzerland.

A day in the life

• You will explore crypto ecosystems to identify the fundamental dynamics that influence price movements and risk.
• You will apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze both traditional and crypto-specific data sets to build better models.
• You will design, backtest, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies, while monitoring their performance to feed insights back into our research loop.

Who you are

You are a curious, data-driven researcher with a passion for financial markets. You thrive in environments that challenge the status quo and you are comfortable working with complex systems. To succeed in this role, you should have the following:

• An advanced degree in a highly quantitative field.
• Proven experience in quantitative research, ideally with a focus on digital assets.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant statistical packages.
• The ability to communicate complex research findings clearly and concisely.
• A pragmatic mindset and a dedication to continuous learning.
• Fluency in English.
