Picture a team that quietly powers smarter spending decisions for thousands of organizations around the world. At FinQuery, we build the only platform that brings leases, software subscriptions, and other major contracts into one clear view, giving finance and procurement teams the insight they need to cut waste and make confident choices.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Quality Automation Engineer who will strengthen the reliability of our SaaS product from the inside out. In this role you will expand our automated testing capabilities, shape how quality is measured across the organization, and help ensure every release meets the high standards our customers expect. Your work will sit at the center of product development, turning requirements into dependable, well-tested features that keep our platform running smoothly.
A day in the life
- You will design and build new automated tests for UI, API, and micro-service layers, then maintain and refine those scripts as requirements evolve.
- You will take part in every stage of the project lifecycle, from reviewing designs and writing test plans to executing functional, regression, performance, and integration tests.
- You will track defects, analyze trends, and share clear reports that help the team remove roadblocks and continuously improve our testing approach.
Who you are
You bring at least five years of hands-on automated testing experience in web or client-server environments and feel confident creating both high-level test plans and detailed, reusable automation scripts. You write and run moderate SQL queries, work comfortably with JSON, Excel, and CSV test data, and have solid experience in UI automation, API testing, and white-box techniques. Proficiency with .NET/C#, JavaScript, RestSharp, Postman or similar API tools, Git, Jenkins, and Jira is essential, while exposure to Playwright and Zephyr is a plus. You thrive in Agile/Scrum settings, communicate testing estimates and risks clearly, and enjoy collaborating across teams to define better processes and tools.
English fluency is required, and the position is fully remote with the option to work from anywhere.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a 401(k) plan with employer matching, a flexible remote work policy, and a free gym membership at our Atlanta office for those who choose to use it. Additional perks include flexible PTO with 11 holidays plus your birthday off, a four-week sabbatical after five years, a $2,000 annual professional development stipend, 10 weeks of paid parental leave for all new parents, fertility and adoption assistance, an annual tutoring stipend for your children, and a signing stipend to set up your home workspace. You will also enjoy catered lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays when in the office, quarterly company events, regular team outings, and a culture built on inclusion and advancement based on results.
