Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Mortgage product engineering team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will be a key player in ensuring the reliability of our internal and client-facing applications through a mix of manual and automated testing.
Your impact
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans while managing the full defect lifecycle to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs using Postman and UI automation using Playwright.
- Collaborate across teams to validate backend data integrity using SQL and champion a culture of quality through CI/CD best practices and Jira workflows.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience in QA or test automation within a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with API testing, SQL, and modern UI automation tools like Playwright.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking systems.
- The ability to read complex JSON structures and work effectively with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional remote team.
- Fluency in English.
