The role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position for someone who thrives in an AI-first engineering culture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our quality assurance practices by utilizing artificial intelligence as a force multiplier to enhance our testing speed, creativity, and coverage. This role is based in the United States and operates on a hybrid schedule.
Core responsibilities
- Own the development and automation of test cases and infrastructure, leveraging AI tools to generate tests from product specifications and code diffs.
- Build and maintain robust end-to-end test suites using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium while integrating AI-driven static analysis into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and engineering teams to embed a culture of quality early in the development lifecycle and define high-level testing strategies.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Between 4 and 6 years of professional experience in software testing, quality automation, or QA engineering.
- Proven ability to use AI tools, such as Cursor, Copilot, or similar LLM-based platforms, to accelerate and enhance quality assurance workflows.
- Strong technical proficiency with automated testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- A deep understanding of CI/CD processes, test environment management, and software deployment.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to identify root causes and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for modern web applications, with a preference for React and Next.js environments.
