Senior QA Engineer at Mashgin

At Mashgin, we are on a mission to eliminate checkout lines by using advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence to make transactions nearly instantaneous. Our innovative point-of-sale kiosks are already deployed in thousands of locations, ranging from major sports stadiums and corporate cafeterias to convenience stores and college campuses. As a profitable series B startup with a decade of growth behind us, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Palo Alto, California. What you'll be doing

• You will take full ownership of feature and product quality, guiding projects from their initial inception through implementation and final launch.
• You will define comprehensive test strategies and build robust test plans, while also leading end to end automation efforts to ensure we maintain high velocity and quality in our releases.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering leads, product managers, and software engineers to run tests on our kiosk hardware and identify creative ways to resolve bugs or improve the user journey.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in both hardware and software environments. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of relevant QA experience, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven expertise in automating end to end UI tests and a deep passion for debugging complex technical problems.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to championing customer feedback to ensure our development teams stay focused on the user experience.
• Experience with Python programming and a track record of shipping high-quality code in fast-paced environments.
• Fluency in English.
