What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will report directly to our VP of Engineering. Your primary goal will be to elevate our deployment frequency from infrequent to daily or weekly by ensuring our e-commerce platform remains reliable, user-friendly, and high-performing.
What will you do?
- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks for our storefront, covering UI, API, and performance testing.
- Serve as a vocal advocate for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle by working closely with our developers, designers, and product managers.
- Perform manual testing when necessary to handle exploratory tasks, usability checks, and complex edge cases.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in automation quality assurance with a focus on web applications. You should be highly proficient in TypeScript and comfortable working with React and Node.js. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who can effectively use tools like Selenium to build scalable test suites. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be documenting test plans and collaborating across teams to maintain high standards. Fluency in English is required for this position.
