About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will act as a technical subject matter expert, guiding development teams and ensuring the successful delivery of complex software projects. This is a remote position for professionals based in Mexico, El Salvador, or Colombia, where you will have the flexibility to manage your work in a way that supports your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase Velocity: Perform automated and API testing for complex applications, identify edge cases, and proactively document plans to mitigate risks and blockers.
- Cultivate Camaraderie: Champion our core values within the project team and provide mentorship to peers and junior team members to foster a culture of excellence.
- Guide Development: Serve as a technical leader during sprints by prioritizing testing efforts, refining acceptance criteria, and acting as a technical interface for our clients.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: 5 to 8 years of professional experience with a deep focus on developing end-to-end test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, as well as Appium for mobile testing.
- CI/CD Proficiency: Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to present technical strategies to client stakeholders and articulate the business value of your work.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a remote position. Candidates must be located in Mexico, El Salvador, or Colombia.
