Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies to validate new features and ensure software quality.
- Create automated functional and performance tests that keep pace with rapid feature development.
- Manage disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices and customize database content for testing.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy code and infrastructure changes all the way through to production.
- Analyze system logs to resolve production issues by reproducing and automating fixes in non-production environments.
- Collaborate with product teams during specification reviews and architectural design sessions to advocate for quality.
Must-haves
- Strong proficiency in Java for developing automated tests using Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience working with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
- Practical knowledge of deploying services within Kubernetes using tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Ability to optimize test infrastructure using Docker, Selenium, and headless browser execution.
- Familiarity with log aggregation tools like SumoLogic, Kibana, or Splunk, and monitoring platforms like Honeycomb or Grafana.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Professional fluency in both English and French.
- Comfort working within an Agile methodology.
