About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to focus on our Electric Transmission and Substation projects. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding opportunity to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning through final close-out. You will play a vital role in expanding our project management capabilities while navigating complex, multi-functional challenges. While we are open to considering remote candidates, our preferred location for this role is St. Paul, Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for large-scale, complex electric transmission and substation projects, ensuring all project scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
- Collaborate with our Project Controls team to maintain accurate project schedules and financial tracking while proactively assessing risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior staff on best practices and project lifecycle management while maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of experience specifically in electric utility transmission and substation project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time for client and project needs.
- Permanent work authorization for the United States.
- A PMP certification and experience with Primavera are highly desired.
Location
This position is based in the United States, with a preference for our office in St. Paul, Minnesota.
