The role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Professional Services department on a full-time basis. This is a remote position that requires a seasoned professional capable of managing complex technical projects from initial pre-sales discussions through final execution. You will play a pivotal role in our organization by delivering high-impact infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud implementations for our diverse client base. We are looking for someone with extensive experience who can operate independently or as part of a collaborative team to drive client success.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of client projects, ensuring all work aligns with established Statements of Work, design standards, and project checklists.
• Collaborate with our Design Desk and Systems Architects to create accurate project scopes, time estimates, and technical documentation.
• Provide high-level escalation support for our Service Desk team while mentoring junior associates and advising on best technical practices.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 7 years of IT experience, ideally within a managed services or consulting environment. We value candidates who bring a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills. Your background should include proficiency in the following areas:

• Microsoft & Cloud: Deep knowledge of Azure services, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, including InTune and AutoPilot.
• Server & Infrastructure: Expertise in Hyper-V configuration, Windows server management, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Networking: Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, routing, vLANs, and wireless security protocols.
