Senior Product Platform Engineer at Lumos

What you bring

As a Senior Product Platform Engineer working in a full-time, remote capacity, you will serve as a foundational member of our engineering organization. You will be responsible for building the core frameworks that allow our product teams to move faster and deliver higher quality results. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the end-to-end development of our core architecture and data models while collaborating with other engineers to build shared frameworks.
• Designing and implementing robust, scalable systems capable of supporting a 10x increase in our user base.
• Developing the infrastructure for our data ingestion pipelines that serve as the backbone for all Lumos products.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated and excited to grow with our company. You should have strong technical expertise in Python and Flask, along with a deep understanding of data modeling and infrastructure design. Proficiency in Figma is also a plus as we build out our shared frontend platforms. We value candidates who can set technical best practices, mentor junior team members, and contribute to our hiring process. You must be fluent in English and possess a collaborative mindset, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

What we offer
