We are now looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Product team, working on our Data Loading part of the Data Productivity Cloud!

About the Role

A Senior Product Owner assumes a central role in spearheading new feature ownership and overseeing the complete development lifecycle. This is a pivotal position where you will collaborate extensive;y with Product, Design, Engineering and quality teams to guarantee smooth coordination and the successful delivery of high-quality products.

We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where employees work 2 days a week in the Manchester office. Our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together. The rest of the week you are welcome to work from the office, or remotely if you’d prefer.

What you will be doing

You will lead collaborative ideation sessions to creatively solve customer problems, while also gathering valuable customer feedback to validate solutions and prioritise effectively.

Demonstrating excellent use of Story Mapping, you will break down large initiatives into actionable tasks and refine backlogs with precision.

Collaboration is key in this role, and you’ll work with multiple teams on design choices, technical architecture, and alignment across multiple workstreams.

Leading the shared understanding in backlog refinement, three amigos and spring planning ceremonies, you will drive the execution of the product vision across teams, managing dependencies seamlessly.

What we are looking for

Demonstrable success in product management with solid knowledge of product management frameworks.

Expert knowledge of Product Owner responsibilities in SCRUM methodology.

Expertise in Data Integration products, their use cases, and the competitive landscape.

Strong knowledge of data ingestion/loading patterns (e.g., change data capture) and related market tools/technologies.

Technical proficiency in modern Cloud Data Warehousing architecture and understanding of different data warehouses.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £56,000 - £84,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
