We're looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager to join us at AstroPay, where you'll lead a fantastic team of Engineers dedicated to innovating in Financial Services. You’ll take ownership of one of our core products, driving its strategy, development, and optimization to enhance the experience for our users and business partners. Your role will be crucial in shaping the product vision, improving user experience, and ensuring technical excellence.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
Product Ownership:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of a key AstroPay product.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing optimization.
Strategic Vision and Leadership:
- Define and drive the strategic vision for the product, aligning it with AstroPay’s broader goals.
- Set and track key performance indicators, focusing on user adoption, engagement, revenue, and market impact.
- Inspire and lead your team, fostering a culture of innovation and executional excellence.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Finance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Promote clear and open communication across departments to enable smooth product development and successful launches.
User-Centric Approach:
- Partner with UX/UI teams to create intuitive and seamless experiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Core Competencies and Skills
Product Expertise: Proven experience in product teams, with a strong track record of successful launches and deep understanding of product development best practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights and make strategic decisions (SQL is a must).
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
Proactive Mindset: Eager to grow in fintech and product management, capable of leading initiatives and driving impact.
Nice to have: Experience with financial systems, gateway integrations, or payment processing.
