We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and help advance our platform's capabilities in machine learning and digital monitoring, reporting, and verification. At Pachama, we use satellite data and artificial intelligence to help companies invest in nature, providing insights into how forests sequester carbon and protect biodiversity for clients like Salesforce, Shopify, and Boston Consulting Group.
Responsibilities
- Create a clear product strategy for our DMRV offerings that aligns with our long-term business goals.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, for features that address customer needs.
- Work alongside our engineering, data science, and operations teams to prioritize and deliver high-impact initiatives.
- Ensure our processes remain compliant with current carbon market standards and verify that our credit issuance meets industry requirements.
- Represent us in standards bodies to help shape the future of carbon credit protocols.
- Perform market research to stay ahead of regulatory changes and emerging trends in the carbon offset space.
- Use data-driven insights and key performance metrics to guide product decisions and measure success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, project partners, and customers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for our products at industry events and conferences.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including a background in product management.
- Direct experience working with DMRV, carbon markets, or similar systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Proven experience with agile product development methodologies.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A track record of managing complex projects and delivering results within cross-functional environments.
- A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and climate action.
