Your mission
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can drive product strategy and execution across our Growth and Tariffs team, balancing Operations and Marketing.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teamsâEngineering, Operations, and Growthâto shape and deliver features that directly impact our customers and business outcomes. You'll own the product roadmap for key initiatives, translating complex energy market requirements into actionable product specs.
As a Senior Product Manager at Ostrom, your mission for the next 12 months includes:
Driving product improvements across our core platform (PowerCloud integrations, tariff management, billing)
Collaborating with Growth to optimize funnels and conversion
Building scalable processes that support our rapid expansion
What you'll be keeping busy with
Own and drive the product roadmap for Operations and/or Growth domains
Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories
Collaborate with Engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver features using an MVP-first approach
Work directly with PowerCloud and other vendors to define integration requirements
Conduct user interviews and synthesize insights to inform product decisions
Define and track success metrics; iterate based on data
Run A/B tests and experiments to optimize conversion and user experience
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage dependencies
Your profile
3+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in B2C tech companies
Native-level German â essential for vendor communication and user research
Strong technical acumen â comfortable reading API documentation, working with SQL, and collaborating closely with engineers
Experience in B2C recurring revenue models (subscriptions, tariffs, plans)
Pragmatic mindset: MVP approach, "done is better than perfect"
Excellent communication skills in English
Startup mentality: fast-paced, adaptable, hands-on
Nice to have
Energy industry background (utilities, tariffs, pricing structures)
Experience with SAP, CRM systems, or similar enterprise software
Growth Optimization: Funnel optimization and CRO experience
Growth background from similar industries (telco, insurance, mobile)
Familiarity with our stack: Linear, JIRA, Amplitude, Notion, SQL, Postman, Figma, Figjam, various AI tools, Slack, automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier), Tableau
Berlin-based nice to have (Ostrom is remote first), but must be Germany-based

First Round Interview (1â1.5 hours)
Present and discuss case study with hiring manager Product Lead plus Q&A
Final Round
Conversation with one of the co-founders.
