Senior Product Manager at Pachama

At Pachama, we leverage the power of artificial intelligence and satellite imagery to help organizations invest in nature with confidence. By utilizing cutting-edge technology, we provide continuous insights into how forests capture carbon, protect biodiversity, and support local communities. Our work enables climate leaders, such as Shopify, Salesforce, and Boston Consulting Group, to identify high-quality projects and monitor their environmental impact over time. We have already evaluated hundreds of nature-based carbon projects and launched our own initiatives across Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. We are backed by prominent investors, including Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Lowercarbon Capital, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us scale our impact.

Key outcomes

• Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (DMRV) program.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation, to ensure our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
• Work alongside forest scientists, remote sensing experts, and machine learning engineers to translate complex technical work into market-ready products.
• Ensure our processes remain compliant with evolving carbon market standards and represent our organization within industry standards bodies.
• Perform ongoing market analysis to stay ahead of regulatory shifts and emerging trends in the carbon offset industry.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive data-informed product decisions.
• Manage relationships with internal teams, project partners, and customers to gather feedback and foster collaboration.
• Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including a proven track record in product management.
• Direct experience working with carbon markets, DMRV systems, or similar environmental technologies.
• Strong proficiency in agile product development methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build consensus across diverse, cross-functional teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A deep passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to addressing climate change.

Compensation
